WWI Burial files are available for WWI service personnel who were killed in action or on active duty.

This record was created by the Armed Forces during the process of identification and final disposition of remains.

It can include details of the circumstances of death, witness affidavits, temporary and permanent burial information, medical and dental records, inventories of personal belongings, correspondence with the surviving family, maps, copies of casualty reports captured from the enemy and more.

Available for Army, Army Air Corps, Marine, and Navy.

To order a WWI IDPF you must provide the following information:

– Full Name of deceased service person
– Branch of service
– Date and location of birth, and date and location of death, if known.
