Twisted Twigs Genealogy WWI / WWII / Korean War Army & Army Air Force OMPF ‘Reconstruction Overview Package’ is an affordable collection of records that illuminates your Veteran’s war experience and provides opportunities for further investigation.
This package is specifically designed to address the most common questions we received over the course of countless Mini-Reconstructions:

- Veterans Master Index Card File
- Official Military Personnel File (aka OMPF / Service Record)
- Company Morning Reports
- Company Rosters
- General Orders/Special Orders mentioned on your veteran’s DD-214
- Station Lists
- Regiment/Unit History, if available
- Operational Reports and/or After Action Reports from your veteran’s service unit
- Photos at the National Archives in St. Louis & Archive 2 in College Park, MD

Twisted Twigs Retrieval Services in St. Louis was created to assist researchers that desire to know their ancestor’s military service but do not have the excess funds to shell out $400 – $2500 or $50/hr research fees. We may take a tad bit longer to complete a reconstruction than companies that offer 1-2 month completion time but we visit 3 different NARA facilities (Archives 1, Archives 2, and NARA-STL/National Personnel Records Center (NPRC)) in person along with working with the Veteran’s Administration to reconstruct a Veteran’s file.

This package is only available for Army or Army Air Corps Veterans who served active duty in WWI, WWII, & the Korean War for at least 6 months or died during their service.
This package is not available for Navy or Marine veterans.

- A $125 refundable retainer payment reserves your spot and starts your package research.
- The final $125 payment is due on completion of your file. You will receive an email notifying you that your file is ready, with a link to make the final payment.
- Once payment is received your file will be delivered in full color PDF format via email within 48 hours, Monday – Friday.
- We cannot guarantee that a record will be located in each category. In the event that no record is located in a collection, we will add an extra record from one of the other collections.
- Delivery time varies between 3-6 months, depending on the accuracy and quality of initial information provided by client and the availability of records at the National Archives.
